Peaceful Paws 30-Day Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Order Changes and Cancellations

To ensure we can process your order efficiently and avoid any delays in delivery, customers have a 12-hour window after placing their order to make any changes or request a cancellation. After this period, we are unable to modify or cancel the order as it will already be processed for shipment. Once an item is in transit, it cannot be canceled because it is in the hands of the carrier, and any refunds at that point would need to follow the return process outlined below.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase or receipt must be provided.

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact us at support@trypeacefulpaws.com to request a return.
  2. Provide a clear picture of the unopened package and its contents for verification.
  3. Once the return is approved, you will receive instructions on how and where to send your package.
  4. Pack the item securely in its original packaging before shipping it back.

Please note: The cost of the return shipping label is the responsibility of the customer and will not be covered by Peaceful Paws.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Shipping Protection

Peaceful Paws offers an optional Shipping Protection to provide peace of mind and safeguard your order throughout its journey.

Benefits of Shipping Protection

  1. Order Safety: Protects your order against lost, stolen, or damaged packages during transit.
  2. Hassle-Free Address Changes: Covers fees for address changes or edits requested after an order has been fulfilled.
  3. Return-to-Sender Fee Coverage: Includes coverage for the $3.95 return-to-sender fee, ensuring you won't incur additional costs if your package is returned.

How Shipping Protection Works

  • Lost or Stolen Packages: If your package is lost or stolen during transit, Shipping Protection ensures you receive a replacement or refund promptly.
  • Damaged Packages: If your order arrives damaged, Shipping Protection covers the cost of a replacement.
  • Address Changes: If you need to update your address after the order is fulfilled, Shipping Protection covers any fees incurred.
  • Return-to-Sender Fee: Without Shipping Protection, a $3.95 fee applies for return-to-sender packages. With Shipping Protection, this fee is waived.

Adding Shipping Protection to your order ensures a stress-free shopping experience by shielding you from unexpected issues during shipping.

Important Note:

The cost of Shipping Protection itself is non-refundable. If a package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, the protection ensures coverage for the item's value or a replacement. However, the fee for purchasing Shipping Protection cannot be refunded.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants).
  • Custom products (e.g., special orders or personalized items).
  • Personal care goods (e.g., opened beauty products).
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

Note: We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange an item, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

Exchanges are subject to a flat $7.99 restocking fee.

European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
