Order Changes and Cancellations

  • To ensure your order is processed smoothly, customers have a 12-hour window after placing their order to make any changes or request a cancellation.
  • After this period, orders are immediately prepared for shipping, and changes or cancellations cannot be made.
  • Once an item is in transit, it cannot be canceled as it is already in the hands of the carrier. This policy allows us to maintain efficient processing times and avoid delays in delivery.

Peaceful Paws offers an optional Shipping Protection to provide peace of mind and safeguard your order throughout its journey.

Benefits of Shipping Protection

  1. Order Safety: Protects your order against lost, stolen, or damaged packages during transit.
  2. Hassle-Free Address Changes: Covers fees for address changes or edits requested after an order has been fulfilled.
  3. Return-to-Sender Fee Coverage: Includes coverage for the $3.95 return-to-sender fee, ensuring you won't incur additional costs if your package is returned.

How Shipping Protection Works

  • Lost or Stolen Packages: If your package is lost or stolen during transit, Shipping Protection ensures you receive a replacement or refund promptly.
  • Damaged Packages: If your order arrives damaged, Shipping Protection covers the cost of a replacement.
  • Address Changes: If you need to update your address after the order is fulfilled, Shipping Protection covers any fees incurred.
  • Return-to-Sender Fee: Without Shipping Protection, a $3.95 fee applies for return-to-sender packages. With Shipping Protection, this fee is waived.

Adding Shipping Protection to your order ensures a stress-free shopping experience by shielding you from unexpected issues during shipping.

Important Note:

The cost of Shipping Protection itself is non-refundable. If a package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, the protection ensures coverage for the item's value or a replacement. However, the fee for purchasing Shipping Protection cannot be refunded.


Package Marked as Delivered but Not Received

We understand how concerning it can be when a package is marked as delivered by USPS but has not yet arrived. This situation can occur for several reasons, including:

  1. Premature Scanning: USPS occasionally scans packages as delivered 1-2 days before actual delivery to meet delivery quotas. If your package is marked as delivered but hasn't arrived, please wait 48 hours as it is likely to arrive within this timeframe.
  2. Misdelivery: The package might have been delivered to a neighbor or an incorrect address with a similar street name or number. We recommend checking with your neighbors and nearby addresses.
  3. Theft: In unfortunate cases, the package may have been stolen after delivery.

Steps to Take

  1. Wait 48 Hours: If your package is marked as delivered, please wait 48 hours from the delivery scan. Many times, the package is delivered within this period.
  2. Check with Neighbors: Verify with your neighbors or anyone who might have accepted the package on your behalf.
  3. Contact USPS: If the package has not arrived after 48 hours, contact your local USPS office to verify the GPS coordinates of the delivery. USPS internal tracking includes GPS data that can pinpoint the delivery location.

Reporting and Claims

  • Filing a Claim: If the package does not arrive after 48 hours, we will assist you in filing a claim with USPS.
  • Police Report: To prevent fraudulent claims, we will also file a local police report for a stolen package. This measure helps us deter scammers and ensures serious cases are handled appropriately.
  • Our Responsibility: According to our policy, once the package is handed over to USPS, it becomes their duty to deliver it. We cannot control the package after it leaves our facility, but we will assist you in resolving any issues that arise.

30-Day Return Policy
